Even beyond the world of jazz, his music has found its way onto the soundtracks of some of television's biggest hits, such as "Men Of A Certain Age," "ER," "The Young and the Restless," and "How William Shatner Changed the World." What's truly remarkable about George Kahn, however, is his commitment to helping others. His efforts to end homelessness in Los Angeles have not gone unnoticed, with the City of Los Angeles recognizing his contributions with a Certificate of Recognition in 2012. Over the past decade, Kahn and his group have raised over $350,000 to support the development of affordable supportive housing for the formerly homeless.
