Michelle Coltrane
Michelle Coltrane was born in Paris, France, and is the only daughter of Alice and John Coltrane. While living in Japan Michelle worked as a DJ. She performed and arranged background vocals for prominent artists. Eventually, finding work in voiceovers, Michelle was featured on two Chevrolet commercials. She was also hired to write a song for the theme park called “Color the Night” which was featured at Space World Amusement Park in Japan. Michelle has toured the US and France as a soloist, and has performed with such artists as Kenny Kirkland, Jeff Watts, Ronnie Laws, Billy Childs, Jack DeJohnette, Marvin Smitty Smith, Reggie Workman, The Gap Band and with the McCoy Tyner Trio at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Her first CD, I THINK OF YOU, is a classic and contemporary jazz collaboration with musician and composer Scott Hiltzik. The recording was well received by Jazz Times and won a YES Award, presented by blues artist Barbara Morrison. Michelle was a featured performer at the 2013 Panama Jazz Festival, and recent appearances include shows at The John Ford Amphitheater in Los Angeles, The Miami Jazz Festival, Vibratos in Bel Air Ca., H. O. M. E. (House of Music & Entertainment) Beverly Hills, Ca., Bar 1912 in Beverly Hills, Ca. and Yoshis Jazz Club, Oakland Ca. Michelle honed her skills as an Emcee to many John Coltrane Scholarship events at the Wiltern Theatre and The House of Blues in Los Angeles. During the late 1990s Michelle co-hosted a radio program on 90.7 FM for 5 years, “Straight No Chaser” with Maggie Le Pique, interviewing artists such as Charlie Haden, Alice Coltrane, Ravi Coltrane, Freddie Hubbard, Elvin Jones, Stanley Clarke and many others.
Sunnie Paxson 
Voted on of Los Angeles' Best Jazz Performers in Los Angeles Magazine and listed in Jazz Week's as one of the Top 100 Artists for radio spins, contemporary jazz pianist, songwriter, producer, and performer Sunnie Paxson is known for her driving grooves and memorable melodies. "Give a listen to Sunnie Paxson. She is a tremendous pianist and a very talented composer. She has recorded and toured with me and she has an extensive knowledge of music" ~ Stanley Clarke Sunnie's work has been heard in films and television networks including the smash hit "Desperate Housewives", promotional spots for NBC, ABC and NBC, Days of our Lives, coverage of The Olympics, Telemundo, Fox Sports Net and the Super Bowl. A native of Philadelphia, Sunnie was drawn to the piano and played as soon as she could stand and reach the keys. Great music filtered into Sunnie's ears at an early age from her grandfather who played the violin and piano and her father's jazz collection. Unknowingly, they were a source of inspiration that ignited a life long passion. She studied at the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts and Berklee College of Music. Her skills were honed by studies with world-renowned teachers such as: French jazz pianist Bernard Peiffer, Jimmy Amadie and Ray Santisi. A road warrior, Sunnie toured with legendary jazz bassist Stanley Clarke. She has recorded and/or shared the stage with many other jazz greats including Danny Gottlieb, Doug Webb, Rick Braun, Michael Paulo, Everett Harp, John Patatucci, Jerry Brown, Larry Carlton and Justo Almario.
Leslie Baker
Leslie Baker continues since age 20 to support herself as a professional musician. Versatility and continuous growth are some attributes of Leslie’s musicianship that her large network of musician friends, teachers and co-workers have noticed. Leslie considers the great Red Callender to be her most important mentor. Strongly influenced by Jazz and Blues, Leslie has been privileged to share time on bandstands with many great musicians including the inventor of Rock and Roll, Earl Palmer, Jazz great Billy Higgins, recordings for the legendary Willie Dixon, road gigs and recordings backing Blues giants Floyd Dixon, Bill “Honky Tonk” Doggett, Lowell Fulson, Harmonica Fats, Linda Hopkins, Barbara Morrison and many more.
